(ASME-2007-Defined as any cover/grate smaller than 18" x 23", usually manufactured in sizes of 9"x9", 12"x12", and 18"x18".)
Lawson Aquatics® team of engineers and product developers knew that the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (effective December 19th, 2008) would save lives, but the real challenge came in designing not only a certified main drain but one that also maintains the necessary high, flow rate that couldn't be matched by the competition. The result is the Domed SuperFlow™ Main Drain.
The domed SuperFlow™ main drain grating is unique since it has the capability to maintain a flow rate of 816 GPM, (18"x18"), 365 GPM, (12"x12") and 261 GPM ("9x9").
